The UNC-CH Center for European Studies recently held an EU Today essay content and announced the winners at one of the Europe Week events. The details of the contest can be found here. Writers were asked to answer one of the following questions in no more than 1,000 words:
1) What does the EU do for its citizens?
2) Why does the EU matter?
3) What is the most critical issue facing the EU today and why?
