The TransAtlantic Masters Program is pleased to welcome the Class of 2024 to campus. This fall semester, we have enrolled the biggest TAM cohort ever with twenty-nine students. This is TAM’s 25th class! 2022 marked the program’s most competitive admissions cycle to date. The Class of 2024 comes to us with impressive professional and academic credentials and a whole lot of enthusiasm for transatlantic affairs.

We are looking forward to being in Raleigh in September for the first-ever local professional development tour and then in Washington, DC in October for site visits and an alumni reception. While at UNC, TAM students will benefit from new joint programing with the Global MA and Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (DAMES) graduate students and even have dedicated shared work space in the FedEx Global Education Center.
The new students in TAM come to us from across the US, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands and Sweden. We also have four dual nationals – US-Swiss, German-Turkish, German-Irish and German-Brazilian. The students have earned undergraduate degrees at the following institutions: Allegheny College, Binghamton University, Bremen University, UNC-CH (12), NC State University, the University of Florida, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, the University of Gothenburg (2), the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the University of Bamberg, the Free University in Berlin, Indiana University, the University of New Hampshire, Maastricht University, the University of Rome, the University of South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.
