The Center for European Studies is pleased to welcome the 2015-2017 TransAtlantic Masters Class to UNC-CH. There are ten in-coming students this year and one student, who has been on leave, will join the cohort in Prague this spring. These students come from a variety of states, including Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. This year’s in-coming TAM students received undergraduate degrees from the following institutions: UNC-CH (4), Sewanee: The University of the South, Providence College, Vassar College, the College of William and Mary, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. The new TAM students have studied and /or worked abroad in Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, France, Lithuania, and the Middle East. Many of the new students have substantial experience involving security and defense, diplomacy, immigration, education, performance arts, fundraising, marketing and sales, finance, journalism, healthcare, and public service.
